Flying with a paraglider
A paraglider is a small and light aircraft of about 8 kilos consisting of a seat for the pilot, some fabric and ropes. The expert launches himself with the paraglider and using the thermal currents manages to fly for several kilometres very high above the ground.
Paragliding in the Aran Valley can be one of the most amazing experiences that you can have. Going far away with all those gorgeous landscapes well below your feet, makes you look at the world from a completely different perspective. For those that are no expert paragliders we do recommend the use of a two-seater paraglider, which is the best way to start practising this sport. This style will give you the security of being with a pilot, an experienced instructor who will try his best so that you have a perfect experience and with no risk at all.
Days with very little wind are ideal, above all in the afternoons, when the Bagergue Valley and sometimes the Aiguamòg Valley are the perfect place.
