Marxa Beret
It is the most important cross-country skiing competition in Spain and one of the most importants in Europe. There are normally over 1000 participants and it takes place in Pla de Beret. There are 3 different versions depending on the distance (10km, 21km and 42km). Among the activities taking place before the competition, we should mention the Sprint Salomon. The Marxa is a really spectacular cross-country skiing race where the participants follow a free style and go on series of four.
Top Caei Trophy

Spanish Championship of sleighs
This has become one of the most important competitions in national mushing, with about one hundred teams and nearly 500 dogs. There are two different categories: one with sleighs of 4, 6 or 8 dogs and another with skijoring, one or two dogs and a person with cross-country skis.
Boscarlac
It is a mountain race which takes place in Bausen, a small village of the Bajo Aran. It is approximately 10 - 13 km long.
Val d'Aran Roller
This is a roller skis and skates competition taking place in Es Bòrdes. It is included in the Catalan Roller Skis Cup.
Pedals de Foc
This is not a competition but an organized MTB route around the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici, making use of the rural tourism facilities and the tracks and roads connecting them. It goes through Val d'Aran, Alata Ribagorça, Pallars Jussà and Pallars Sobirà.
Chariots of Fire
In 1987, some refuge guards went from Pallars to Ribagorça in just one day and since then this crossing is known as “Chariots of Fire”. It is not a competition as such but every time someone carries out the crossing in just one day, it can be heard at each refuge: “the chariots of fire are passing by today”.
