From Lleida, Barcelona or Valencia (East coast). We recommend taking the AP-2 motorway Barcelona-Lleida and then taking the N-230 road Alfarrás-Benabarre-Pont de Suert-Val d'Aran.
From Madrid or the South, the best option is to take the A-2 dual carriageway and then the N-240 road to Barbastro. Finally, you should take the N-230 to Pont de Suert-Val d'Aran.
From Portugal, the Cantabrian Sea or Castille-Leon, we suggest taking the French route as it is shorter than the Spanish one. You should take the A-8 motorway (San Sebastian-Bayonne), and in Bayonne, take the A-64 carriageway direction Toulouse, leaving at Montrejeau and then continuing (direction Lleida) all the way to St. Beat, Val d'Aran.
There is one other route which can be taken, and it is from the Pass of Bonaigua. It is ideal for all those who also want to go to or who are coming from Andorra and although it is a bit longer than the rest, it is the route that takes you to the National Park of Aigüestortes. From Pallars, through the Pass of Bonaigua (at 2072 m above sea level), we take the C-28 road (former C-142), which ends at Vielha. The sky resort of Baqueira-Beret is also on this road.
